N. Ganapathy Subramaniam

Non-Executive Chairman & Non-Independent Director

N. Ganapathy Subramaniam has been a part of Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) and the Indian IT Industry for over 40 years. He stepped down from TCS in May 2024 as the Chief Operating Officer & Executive Director of TCS. He has played a strategic role in several landmark initiatives undertaken by TCS across banking, telecom, and public services globally. He has in-depth knowledge of technology, operations, product development, business transformation, and change management for organizations across the industry spectrum. As a thought leader, he has spoken at global conferences and actively engages in shaping opinions across the industry and government. Currently, he is part of a team at TCS and Tejas Networks designing and developing the indigenous telecom Stack for 5G/6G.

He also serves as Chairman and Non-Executive Director on the Boards of Tata Elxsi Limited, Tata Communications Limited and as a Director of TCS Foundation. Also, he is associated as Member on boards of Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Ramana Maharshi Centre for learning and The Society for the Rehabilitation of Crippled Children.

Srikumar Vijayasekharan

Non-Executive Independent Director

A Chartered Accountant with over 40 years of experience covering audit and assurance services, operations, governance and strategy, including 8 years as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Deloitte South Asia. As the COO, he was part of the core leadership of Deloitte South Asia from 2015 till completion of term in 2023. Was responsible for all operations of the firm including Finance, IT, Infrastructure and Facilities, Business Plans, Strategy Implementation, Succession Planning, etc. Also had oversight of the business and operations of other South Asia country practices. During this period the firm grew over four times.

As an Audit & Assurance partner, he has served clients in the Manufacturing, Financial Services, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Technology, Media, Telecommunications, and Consumer Business sectors.

He was a Director on the Board of Deloitte Foundation. Prior to being appointed as COO, he was a member of the South Asia Board of Deloitte. From 2023 to 2025, he was Advisor to the South Asia CEO. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Loyola College, Madras University.

Mr. Srikumar Vijayasekharan also holds directorships on the Boards of Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited, Arka Fincap Limited and Arka Financial Holdings Private Limited.

Prof. Bhaskar Ramamurthi

Non-Executive Independent Director

Prof. Bhaskar Ramamurthi heads the Centre of Excellence in Wireless Technology, located at the IIT-Madras Research Park, which is focused on emerging wireless standards and technologies. He is a holder of several patents related to 4G and 5G technologies and was the national coordinator for the project to build an end-to-end 5G Test Bed. He has served as the Chairperson of TSDSI. He is a Fellow of the IEEE and INAE and an Hon. Fellow of RWTH Aachen, Germany. He served as Director, IIT Madras from 2011-21. Bhaskar Ramamurthi graduated with a B.Tech in Electronics from IIT Madras (1980). He secured his M.S. (1982) and Ph.D. (1985) in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara. After working at AT&T Bell Laboratories for a couple of years, he joined the faculty of his alma mater in 1986. His areas of specialization are Communications and Signal Processing. His body of research is in Wireless Networks, Modulation, Wireless Data, and Audio and Video Compression.

Mr. Bhaskar also serves as a Director of IITM Pravartak Technologies Foundation and Higher Education Financing Agency.

Alice G Vaidyan

Non-Executive Independent Director

Mrs. Alice G Vaidyan, former Chairman and Managing Director of General Insurance Corporation of India and the first lady CMD in the Indian insurance industry has over 40 years of experience. She is considered among the foremost experts in the insurance and reinsurance industry in India and across the globe. She has won several national and international awards. She was the only Indian on Fortune’s Global List (2018) of 50 Most Powerful Women in Business. In April 2019, Mrs. Vaidyan was honored with the Freedom of City of London, in recognition of her work to promote insurance ties between India and London.

Mrs. Alice Vaidyan is also a Director on the Boards of Geojit Financial Services Limited, TATA AIA Life Insurance Company Limited, TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited, Union Asset Management Company Private Limited, Air India Limited, Air India Express Limited, Tata Investment Corporation Limited and Asian Reinsurance Corporation, Bangkok.

Dr. Randhir Thakur

Non-Executive and Non-Independent Director

Dr. Randhir Thakur is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Tata Electronics since April 2023 and has been on the Board since April 2021. He brings over 40 years of semiconductor industry experience in manufacturing, R&D, and P&L management.

An IEEE Fellow since 2013, he holds more than 300 patents. His expertise includes product development, joint ventures, M&A, process technology, and ecosystem collaboration.

Before joining Tata Electronics, Dr. Thakur held senior roles at Intel, including President of Intel Foundry Services and Corporate Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer at Intel Corp. He has also held leadership positions at Applied Materials, SanDisk, Steag Electronic Systems, and Micron Technology.

Dr. Thakur holds a Bachelor’s in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, a Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.

Arnob Roy

Managing Director & CEO

Arnob Roy is the Co-Founder, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Tejas Networks. He has over 30 years of experience in research & development, operations and sales in the high-tech industry. Prior to Tejas, he held senior management positions at Synopsys Inc. and Cadence Design Systems.

Arnob Roy holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, USA and a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.

Mr. Roy is a Director on the Board of Saankhya Labs Inc., USA, a subsidiary of the Company.

Arnob Roy

Managing Director & CEO

Arnob Roy is the Co-Founder, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Tejas Networks. He has over 30 years of experience in research & development, operations and sales in the high-tech industry. Prior to Tejas, he held senior management positions at Synopsys Inc. and Cadence Design Systems.

Sanjay Malik

Chief Strategy & Business Officer

Sanjay Malik has over three decades of global experience in the ICT sector in driving growth, spearheading transformative initiatives, and building high-performance organizations. Before joining Tejas, he was a Senior Vice-President and India Country Head of Nokia Networks and held the position of Managing Director, Nokia India Board (Governance, Audit, Compliance). He was earlier associated with organizations such as Cap Gemini, HP, and Tata Unisys in various positions. He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (Mumbai) and a BE from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra.

AVS Prasad

Chief Financial Officer

AVS Prasad is the Chief Financial Officer of the Company. He is a seasoned finance and governance professional with over 27 years of experience within the Tata Group, spanning telecom, aerostructures, and defence sectors, including more than 15 years in leadership roles as Chief Financial Officer and Financial Controller.

He is a Company Secretary and a Cost & Management Accountant, bringing deep expertise in corporate finance, financial controllership, treasury management, regulatory compliance, internal audit, and corporate governance. He also has hands on experience in startup operations and in building scalable finance teams.

His professional strengths include business planning, commercial contracting, and stakeholder management.

Kumar N. Sivarajan

Chief Technology Officer

Kumar is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Tejas Networks. He is a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering and the Indian National Science Academy and has nearly three decades of experience in the field of telecommunications. In 2000, he received the Swarnajayanti Fellowship from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, which is awarded to outstanding young scientists to pursue basic research in frontier areas of science and technology. Kumar has co-authored the bestselling book titled “Optical Networks: A Practical Perspective”, which is currently in its third edition. He also received the prestigious IEEE W.R.G. Baker Prize Paper Award in 1997, which is presented for the most outstanding paper reporting original work in the transactions, journals, and magazines of the Societies or in the proceedings of the IEEE. In November 2021, he was elevated to IEEE Fellow status for his extraordinary and continued contributions to the field of optical networking. He was the recipient of the ‘CTO of the Year’ award from ET Telecom in 2022.

Preetham Uthaiah

Chief Operating Officer

Preetham Uthaiah is the Chief Operating Officer of the Company. Prior to this, he was the Vice President of Product Management, Wireless Products, where he was responsible for product management and program management for wireless products at Tejas Networks.
 
Preetham is a seasoned telecom and hi-tech industry professional with hands-on experience in various technologies, including broadband access, wireless, optical networking, VoIP, etc. He has three decades of global experience in engineering, product management, and business development in the USA and India.
 
Prior to Tejas Networks, Preetham was Executive Vice President of Product Management, Marketing, and Strategy at Saankhya Labs. Prior to that, he worked in various companies in India and the USA, including serving as Vice President at Tech Mahindra in both regions.
 
Preetham holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona State University, USA, and an engineering degree (Electronics and Communications) from Karnataka University.

Anantha Murthy N

Company Secretary and Compliance Officer

Anantha Murthy N is a qualified Company Secretary and Law Graduate.  He has more than two decades of rich experience in handling Company Secretarial / Legal matters with expertise in Corporate Law, Corporate Governance, Compliance, Board / Shareholders Management, Corporate Restructuring, and Regulatory Matters. Before joining Tejas Networks, he worked as the Head – Legal and Company Secretary of Tata Coffee Limited. Before that, he had worked with renowned corporates viz., BPL Group, ABB, Landmark Group (Lifestyle) and AstraZeneca.

Asha Ranjan Mathews

Chief Human Resources Officer
Asha Ranjan Mathews is an industry veteran with close to three decades of rich industry experience. Prior to Tejas, she was associated with Tata Consultancy Services where she was the Business HR head of the Cybersecurity Business Unit. She holds an MBA from Mount Carmel College, Bengaluru & bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s College of Arts and Science, Bengaluru.
