TJ1400 UltraFlex is an innovative product that combines fiber broadband (GPON/XGS-PON), mobile broadband (4G/5G LTE/NR), high-speed Ethernet (GE/10GE/100GE) and packet-optical transport (MPLS-TP, IP/MPLS) technologies in a single platform. TJ1400 integrates high-capacity, macro FDD+TDD LTE eNodeB RAN functionality through a Radio Access Card (RAC) and is upgradable to 5G (3GPP Release 15). The RAC card is band-agnostic and can support six LTE carriers. Up to 30 carriers can be supported in a compact, half-depth 2U shelf.

TJ1400 UltraFlex utilizes a reprogrammable software-defined hardware architecture that enables extreme flexibility by seamlessly converging optical transport and broadband access functions in a unified chassis. TJ1400 delivers over 50% savings in total cost of ownership for telecom service providers, both in sparse rural scenarios as well as in high-density urban deployments.
