Minimum Qualification: 
BE/B-Tech (ECE, E&I,CS), ME/ M-tech( Optics/communication system)  Typical Experience: Experience in handling and troubleshooting issues found in SDH/SONET,DWDM, Packet transport  networks(PTN). Strong communication and customer handling skills. 


Able to successfully lead and drive telco issues to resolution in line with Tejas Networks resolution mandate. Provide mentoring and specific knowledge transfer to other members of the TAC team. Works under minimal guidance and technical mentoring. Proposes innovative solutions as required. Prioritizes own work in line with the team objectives.  Provides guidance and promotes teamwork. Ensure that response and resolution time lines are met for field issues, as per committed SLA to customer.

Strong hold on Optical (SDH/SONET) ,DWDM/OTN, EoS (Ethernet over SDH), Packet Network protocols & technologies (.1q,QinQ,STP,ERPS,SATOP/CEM, MPLS-TP, OSPF etc.). Ability to debug/analyze/categorize and troubleshoot telco issues efficiently and effectively.                                                                 

Soft Skills: Excellent Verbal/Written communication skills, Polite, Team player, Individual contributor, Self learner.
Nature of Interaction:
Interact with Tejas Level-1 Support and field Engg.(Level-2 support ) for providing assistance on reported issue. Debug/analyze and if required try to reproduce field issue in Tejas lab with customer config. and interact with product verification (PV) team /Research and Development (R&D) team if needed to gain better understanding of the issue. Raise/follow up the issue with design following sufficient debugging/analysis of the issue as required.
