Introduction |
The last few years have seen a rapidly increasing demand for data services. From Broadband Internet to Enterprise Ethernet Services, Data Services have started accounting for a significant percentage of Service Provider Revenues. The increasing proportion of data services in the network has prompted Service Providers to build in a higher-degree of ‘Packet-awareness’ into Metro networks. It is this requirement that has inspired Tejas Networks to research into and build a feature-rich packet-aware product portfolio. Tejas Networks has helped Service Providers all over the world to not only expand the scope of services that can be provided (e.g. MEF Ethernet Services for enterprises), but to also provide data services (e.g. residential broadband) more efficiently.
Tejas Networks has partnered with Service Providers to build Metro Networks to serve a wide variety of Next-Generation Applications including Cellular Services (both 3G and WIMAX), Enterprise Metro Ethernet and Residential Triple play services.
