Overview: The TJ100ME is a future-proof, carrier-class Multi Service Provisioning Platform ideal for use at regional hub locations. It is a redundant STM-1/4/16 equipment (both SDH & SONET versions) with tributary protection and Carrier Ethernet Switching features in a modular architecture.

Ideal Environment: TJ100ME can be used for a wide range of applications such as - high-density access for E1/E3/DS3 and Ethernet services, compact communication backhaul node in wireless networks, aggregation and transport of real-time traffic in optical transport networks. It supports reconfigurable ports and can be used to subtend STM-1, STM-4 & STM-16 rings. With cutting edge Carrier Ethernet features, it is ideal for packet dominated networks of the future.

High Density & Compact Solution: In 4.5U form factor, TJ100ME provides 4 traffic slots that can support a wide variety of traffic modules as per your requirement. As a result, it provides best in class interface density such as 40x STM-1 & 252x E1. It comes with multiple cross connect size options to help you grow your network as traffic increases ensuring optimal capex utilization.

High Availability: TJ100ME provides redundancy for cross connect, power supply as well as tributary protection.

Carrier Ethernet: TJ100ME supports full-fledged Carrier Ethernet based on standardized PBB and PBB-TE technologies that provide unmatched scalability and Connection Oriented Ethernet.

Service Protection: In addition to SDH/SONET protection schemes, TJ100ME also supports new packet-based protection schemes like Ethernet Ring Protection Scheme (ERPS – ITU G.8032) which guarantees sub 50ms protection switching. Spanning Tree Protocol based restoration is available for mesh topologies.

Quality of Service: Tejas’ nodes implement an advanced Quality of Service that allows fine-grained differentiation and shaping of transport tunnels, customer services and sub-services. Services can be completely isolated with Virtual Rings.
