Overview: TJ5500 Network Management System (NMS) is an integrated management application offering single window operation for Multi-Technology & Multi-Vendor Network. TJ5500 enables efficient network management through rapid end to end provisioning & advanced user interface for efficient centralized operations. It is a future ready solution which supports SDH/SONET, DWDM & Carrier Ethernet network elements and high degree of scalability.
The TJ5500 is designed keeping in mind that service provider networks are heterogeneous in terms of equipment vendors, technology and manageability domains. With the unique “Map assisted walkthrough” method of circuit provisioning, the TJ5500 enables the network operator to create circuits spanning multiple EMSs. TJ5500 is a scalable product that can manage very large networks comprising of tens of thousands of NEs. An advanced, intuitive user interface enables the NoC teams to optimize operational cost through faster and more efficient operations.
End-to-End Circuit Management : TJ5500 supports a large number of circuit creation & management options – including Point & Click Provisioning (PNCP), circuit discovery mechanism and bulk circuit editing. Enhanced circuit edit operations include features like changing the source/destination node, re-routing & adding/removing segment protection. The intuitive UI ensures less training & maintenance overhead.
Comprehensive Fault Management : TJ5500 has a Centralized Fault Management system for network-wide alarm monitoring and management. Fault monitoring is facilitated by extensive filtering and probable cause analysis for network wide alarms.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting : TJ5500 supports detailed performance monitoring, allowing for 15-minutes and 24-hour interval performance collection. It supports a comprehensive set of reports that are exportable to a user-friendly format for further analysis.
Open Interfaces: TJ5100 supports standards compliant TMF814 south bound interface allows for easy integration with 3rd party EMS systems.
High Availability & Scalability : TJ5500 supports 1+1 Hot Standby for high-reliability network management system. It has the capability to manage very large and complex networks.
