Tejas Networks augments its senior management team - Appoints
Dr. Kanwar Jit Singh as Principal Architect
Bangalore, India, March 16, 2005: Tejas Networks announced the appointment of Dr. Kanwar Jit Singh as Principal Architect. Prior to Tejas, Dr. Singh was heading a Broadband Switch Group at UTStarcom, New Jersey. Prior to UTStarcom, Dr. Singh was the Co-founder and VLSI Lead of Xebeo Communications. Prior to Xebeo, Dr. Singh spent many years with Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies.

About Dr. Kanwar Jit Singh
Dr. Singh has a rich experience in telecommunications, networking, packet switching, VLSI & ASIC design. Dr. Singh has led the development of a 400 Gb/s Multi-Service Intelligent Packet Switch for Metro Ethernet and Core Switching. He is a Ph.D. in Electrical Engg and Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley and a B.Tech in Electrical Engg from IIT, Kanpur. Dr. Singh has 4 patents to his name and several pending. He has also won several accolades for Technological Innovation and has a slew of publications to his credit.
