TV Mohandas Pai & Prof. J Ramachandran join Tejas Networks' Board of Directors
Bangalore India June 19, 2007
– Tejas Networks, an emerging leader in next-generation optical
networking products, announced today that TV Mohandas Pai and Prof. J
Ramachandran have joined the Tejas Board as Independent Directors. Mr. TV Mohandas Pai is Member of the Board and Director-Human Resources, Education and Research and Administration at Infosys. Prof. J. Ramachandran is BOC Chair Professor of Business Policy at IIM, Bangalore .

V. Mohandas Pai is Member of the Board and Director-Human Resources,
Education and Research and Administration. Mohan joined Infosys in 1994
and has served as a Member of the Board since May 2000. He served as
the Chief Financial Officer from 1994 to 2006. In 2006, he voluntarily
remitted the office of CFO to lead efforts in the areas of Human
Resources and Education & Research.
Mohan was
an integral part of the Infosys team that enabled the first listing of
an India-registered company on NASDAQ and the first sponsored secondary
offering of American Depositary Shares by an Indian company. He was
voted ‘CFO of the Year' in 2001 by IMA India (formerly EIU India) and
American Express. He won the “Best CFO in India ” award from Finance
Asia in 2002, and “Best Chief Financial Officer in India ” in the
AsiaMoney Best Managed Companies Poll 2004.
Mohan has a bachelor's degree in commerce (B.Com) from St. Joseph 's
College of Commerce , Bangalore and a bachelor's degree in law (LLB)
from Bangalore University . He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA).
Prof. J Ramachandran

Prof.
J. Ramachandran is BOC Chair Professor of Business Policy at the Indian
Institute of Management Bangalore . A qualified Chartered and Cost
Accountant, Professor Ramachandran obtained his doctorate from the
Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. His major research interests
are in the areas of globalisation and corporate transformation.
Prior to joining the faculty at IIM Bangalore, Professor Ramachandran
was Vice President (Management Services) at Reliance Industries
Limited, one of India 's largest private sector firms.
A former member of the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of
Management Bangalore , Professor Ramachandran serves on the board of
select companies. |
