Tejas Networks augments its senior management team Appoints Siva Ramamoorthy to lead Marketing

Bangalore, India, April 23, 2007: - Tejas Networks, an emerging leader in the Optical Networking products announced the appointment of Mr. Siva Ramamoorthy as Group Director, Marketing. Prior to joining Tejas, Siva was the Director of Sales & Marketing at Intel, Nortel and Netscape Communications.

Siva has a rich experience with Intel India as the Director of Sales and Marketing, with Nortel Networks and Netscape Communications Corporation. At Intel Siva managed the Communications business line enabling customer wins such as Bharti’s Ring back tones, D-link’s Made-in-India routers and security appliances and embedded computing applications such as kiosks and thin clients. At Nortel, Siva was product manager in the wireless business group (in USA) before moving to India to represent the wireless business of Nortel Networks. Siva is the Vice President of the alumni association of the Kellogg school of Management and is actively involved in bodies such as TEMA, CII, Telecom Value added services industry bodies, embed Asia. Siva holds a MS in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky and a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
