This is the second year running that Tejas has won this recognition from ISA. The award was given by Indian World Chess Champion Viswanathan Anand.
“We are delighted with this recognition from a premier technology industry association like ISA. Tejas Networks is a company that is committed to R&D excellence and innovation in telecom products. We are playing a significant role in providing scalable and Future ReadyTM transmission solutions to telecom service providers. Our innovative products enable them to address the challenge of scaling up their network for massive growth in data, driven by mobile internet, video and business services, while maintaining a large and growing customer base for voice traffic. We are seeing tremendous success with our POTP products with deployments in Indian and international telecom operator networks. In India, TJ1600 has been deployed successfully in leading 3G operator networks. The combined subscriber base addressed by these operators is over 250 million”, said Sanjay Nayak, CEO & MD.
Arnob Roy, President Engineering added, “Tejas POTP portfolio enables service providers to seamlessly transition 2G networks serving all-voice traffic to 3G/4G networks serving predominantly data traffic at their own pace. TJ1600 is a POTP product that can be deployed as a 100% native TDM box today and can be smoothly migrated to a 100% pure-packet box in the future on the same shelf. It is a unified platform with best-in-class interface density and versatility. With strong support for OTN and Carrier-grade Ethernet, TJ1600 is a truly scalable and Future ReadyTM platform.”
